A native, local-first Logitech Options+ replacement in Rust with no account, no telemetry, and full mouse/keyboard/camera control.

Core Features

  • Native Rust + GPUI for low resource usage; first-class Linux support
  • Button remapping, gestures on any button, DPI presets, and SmartShift wheel mode toggle
  • Plain-text TOML config, easy to sync or version-control
  • Direct UVC webcam controls (Brio, StreamCam, C920 series) written to hardware
  • No account, no telemetry; CLI alongside GUI for scripting

What It Can't Do

  • The project is under active development; features and config format may change without notice. Quit Logitech Options+ before installing or using OpenLogi. Windows support is newer and some advanced features may be missing. On Linux, per-app profile overlays work only on X11/XWayland.

Use Cases

  • Users who want a lightweight, local Logitech controls app without Options+ bloat or account requirements
  • Linux users who need a reliable open-source driver for Logitech mice, keyboards, and webcams
  • Power users who want per-app button profiles and scriptable config

Detailed Introduction

OpenLogi is a lightweight, open-source replacement for Logitech Options+ that unlocks the full capabilities of Logitech mice, keyboards, and webcams over HID++ and UVC. Built natively in Rust with GPUI, it runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows. Key features include button remapping via OS input hooks, per-application profile overlays, gesture bindings on any button, a cursor-centered Actions Ring, DPI presets and SmartShift wheel control, F-key remapping with power-user actions, and direct UVC-webcam controls with hardware-persisted profiles. Config lives in one plain-text TOML file and a real CLI accompanies the GUI. Unlike the official Options+ (which requires an account and sends telemetry), OpenLogi is fully local, scriptable, and treats Linux as a first-class platform. It is under active development and not yet stable.
