Auto-download comics, track series, and organize your digital collection.

Core Features

  • Supports NZB (Usenet) and BitTorrent sources
  • Create watchlist, auto-monitor new issues
  • View weekly pull-lists up to 4 weeks ahead
  • Track story arcs and fill missing issues
  • Failed download handling & metadata tagging

What It Can't Do

  • Requires a pre-configured NZB or torrent download client (e.g., SABnzbd, qBittorrent). 2. Comic availability depends on Newznab indexers or public trackers; rare/Chinese comics may be hard to find. 3. Initial setup is non-trivial; consult official documentation.

Use Cases

  • Auto-download latest comic issues for collectors
  • Manage large digital comic libraries and fill gaps
  • Integrate with NAS or media servers for hands-off operation

Mylar3 is an automated comic book downloader that works with NZB and torrent sources. It lets you create a watchlist of series, monitors for new issues and updates, then downloads, sorts, and renames them. Features include supporting SABnzbd, NZBGet, multiple torrent clients, and a blackhole method. You can view weekly pull-lists up to 4 weeks ahead, track story arcs, scan your existing library to fill gaps, handle failed downloads, and meta-tag issues (via ComicTagger). It also generates series.json for third-party apps and sends notifications on snatches/downloads. Works on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Raspberry Pi.
