This is caused by engine-mpd.php hanging during startup while Autoplay tries to resume playback, often with a problematic queue item or stream. The log typically shows Engine-mpd: socket timeout (600000 secs). Workaround: disable Autoplay in moOde settings, then reboot the Raspberry Pi with sudo reboot. After reboot, the full Web UI should load normally. If you need Autoplay, first clear or inspect the MPD playlist/queue and remove the problematic item or stream—such as the resumed songid 27 shown in the log—before enabling Autoplay again. You can confirm the hang locally with curl -v "http://127.0.0.1/engine-mpd.php?state=undefined"; a request that never returns indicates the same startup blockage. Clearing the browser cache or using another browser does not resolve it because the issue is server-side.
