The error occurs because some dependencies must compile from source for your platform/architecture. As a workaround, install the pre-release version, which may include precompiled binaries: npm install <package-name>@next. If that fails, use the prebuilt executable for your platform instead. Installing Python and the required build tools can also allow source compilation to succeed.

The failure is caused by license-webpack-plugin trying to scan a missing package/license directory, not by the application code. For a local Windows build, disable the plugin in config/webpack.config.js: locate new LicensePlugin({ ... }) inside the plugins array and comment it out, then rerun npm run build. If license generation is required, first upgrade the plugin with npm install -D license-webpack-plugin@latest; if the error remains, configure handleMissingLicenseText: 'ignore' or provide licenseTextOverrides for the packages listed in the warnings. The license warnings themselves are non-fatal; the fatal step is the plugin's scandir call.
