One-click open-source sideloader for installing SideStore on iPhone

Core Features

  • One-click installation of SideStore or any IPA file on iOS devices
  • Automatic pairing file and certificate import with no manual steps
  • Intelligent error suggestions that turn cryptic errors into actionable fixes
  • Pairing file management for apps like StikDebug, SideStore, and Protokolle
  • View and revoke development certificates and app IDs

What It Can't Do

  • •Windows users must install iTunes first for the device driver, otherwise the device will not be detected; an Apple ID is required, and free developer accounts are limited to 3 sideloaded apps that expire every 7 days and need re-signing; iloader is not a jailbreak tool and cannot bypass Apple code signing or install pirated apps; only download from iloader.app or the official GitHub Releases page, as third-party sources may distribute tampered builds.

Use Cases

  • Install SideStore on an iPhone to enable on-device app signing and refresh
  • Sideload personal IPA files onto your own iOS devices
  • Set up pairing files for JIT-based apps like StikDebug
  • A go-to sideloading option for Linux users with few alternatives

iloader is a user-friendly, open-source sideloader built with Tauri and Rust that makes installing SideStore, LiveContainer, or any IPA file on iOS devices remarkably simple. It automatically imports pairing files and certificates, manages pairing files for apps like StikDebug and Protokolle, and lets users view and revoke development certificates and app IDs from one clean interface. Unlike the popular Sideloadly, iloader is fully open source under the MIT license and runs natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux, making it one of the few sideloading tools with first-class Linux support, including NixOS flakes, RPM packages, and AUR builds. Its intelligent error suggestions translate cryptic Apple developer errors into actionable fixes, and built-in log viewing speeds up troubleshooting. Setup requires only usbmuxd (iTunes on Windows), a USB cable, and an Apple ID. The project is actively maintained, translated into more than 25 languages, and distributed only through its official site iloader.app and GitHub releases.

Uninstall Info

Uninstall iloader like any regular desktop app: on Windows use Settings > Apps or the Control Panel, on macOS drag iloader from Applications to the Trash, and on Linux remove it with your package manager (e.g. dnf remove or pacman -R). To clean up leftovers, delete the me.nabdev.iloader folder under %APPDATA% on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support on macOS, or ~/.local/share on Linux. Uninstalling iloader does not remove apps already sideloaded onto your device.

No Extra Dependencies

Ready to use after download. No additional runtime required.
