Troubleshooting & FAQ (2)
TroubleshootingWhy does the Zulip desktop app show the wrong account when accessing plan management after logging into a different account in the browser?
This bug has been fixed in a subsequent Zulip release. Upgrade your desktop app to the latest version to resolve the issue (fix introduced in PR #28473). If the problem persists, ensure you are logged into the correct organization across both the app and browser.
TroubleshootingWhy do I see 'is a private channel' warning when trying to link a channel in Zulip, even though the subscribers seem correct?
This is a known bug (issue #38976) where the banner incorrectly appears when the channel subscriber set differs only by incoming webhook bots. These bots cannot read messages, so they should be ignored. A fix is in progress in PR #38977. Workaround: ensure the linked channel's subscribers (excluding incoming webhook bots) are a subset of the current channel's subscribers, or temporarily remove the bots from the channel.
