Detailed Introduction

Websurfx is an open-source meta search engine that aggregates results from multiple search engines while prioritizing user privacy. Built with Rust, it ensures memory safety and performance. Features include custom themes, search filtering, caching, Tor support, and an experimental IO-uring performance boost. It can be self-hosted via Docker or bare metal, giving users full control over their search data. The engine also includes a built-in ranking algorithm to reorder results for relevance, and supports custom proxy configurations. It is 100% free, ad-free, and designed for secure, private searching.
