Your personal Tesla data center: log everything your car does, visualize it beautifully.

Core Features

  • High-precision drive data recording
  • Battery health & degradation analysis
  • Charge cost tracking with custom rates
  • Geo-fencing for automatic location tagging
  • Home Assistant / MQTT integration

What It Can't Do

  • Requires self-hosted server (Docker), not for non-tech users. 2. Only use official sources to avoid credential theft. 3. AGPL-3.0 license prohibits closed-source commercial use.

Use Cases

  • Deep analysis of driving and charging patterns
  • Monitor battery degradation to maximize lifespan
  • Automate home energy management based on car state

TeslaMate is a self-hosted data logging platform for Tesla vehicles. It records high-precision drive data, charge sessions, battery degradation, vampire drain, and location history. Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database and visualized via Grafana dashboards. It integrates with Home Assistant, Node-RED, and Telegram through MQTT, supports geo-fencing, multi-vehicle tracking, and charge cost calculation. No additional vampire drain — your car sleeps normally. Built with Elixir for reliability.
