Hide your real email with unlimited aliases, open-source and self-hostable.
Core Features
- Unlimited email aliases, each can be created and deleted independently
- Support custom domains for aliases
- Browser extensions & mobile apps for quick alias generation
- PGP encryption for end-to-end email protection
- Fully self-hostable for complete data control
What It Can't Do
- •Self-hosting requires a Linux server, Docker experience, and proper DNS configuration (DKIM/SPF/DMARC) to avoid email rejection. The hosted version relies on SimpleLogin servers. Some websites may detect alias domains and block signups. Compared to Firefox Relay and Apple Hide My Email, SimpleLogin's unique advantages are being fully open-source, self-hostable, and supporting custom domains without platform lock-in.
Use Cases
- Protect your primary email from spam and tracking when signing up for online services
- Track which service leaked your email by using unique aliases per service
- Use custom domain aliases for professional or personal anonymous communication
Detailed Introduction
SimpleLogin is an open-source tool that lets you create unlimited email aliases to hide your real email address. Every alias forwards emails to your true inbox, keeping your personal address private. It supports custom domains, browser extensions (Chrome/Firefox), mobile apps (Android/iOS), and PGP encryption. You can self-host on your own server for full control, or use the hosted version at simplelogin.io. Designed to prevent tracking, spam, and data breaches, it integrates seamlessly with your existing email workflow.
