Radarr intentionally avoids updating the status to 'Missing' when an entire movie folder is removed, to prevent data loss if the root folder is unmounted (e.g., network share disconnect). To force a status update, use one of these workarounds: 1) Manually recreate an empty folder with the exact movie name, then run 'Refresh & Scan' – Radarr will detect it empty and mark the movie as missing. 2) Delete the movie from the Radarr UI and re-add/re-monitor it. An enhancement request is open to implement a root folder health check that would safely mark movies missing when the folder is deleted but the root path is accessible.

How do I fix the "Download client places downloads in root folder" warning in Radarr or Sonarr?

This warning means Radarr/Sonarr sees your SABnzbd or qBittorrent download/category path as the same folder as, or inside, your media root folder (for example `/expansion/media/movies`). Configure the download client to use a separate downloads folder, such as `/downloads/movies` or `/data/torrents/movies`, while keeping your Radarr/Sonarr root folder separate, such as `/data/media/movies`. Verify the SABnzbd/qBittorrent category path, correct the Remote Path Mapping in Radarr/Sonarr if the download client runs in Docker or on another host, then test the client and restart the containers. There is no option to suppress the warning; correcting the path resolves it.

How to fix Radarr ffprobe error "Invalid data found when processing input" for .strm files?

This error occurs because Radarr tries to run ffprobe on `.strm` files, but `.strm` is a streaming pointer file, not a media file. The fix is to upgrade Radarr to a release containing the change that excludes streaming extensions (`.strm`) from media-info probing, then rescan/refresh the affected movie. On older versions, remove `.strm` files from the import path or place them outside Radarr's scanned media folder as a temporary workaround.

Yes. The Trakt Smart Import List feature was ported from Sonarr and merged into Radarr via commit 56f6168bb6f254c9a34d0e5da76040dcb4215d3d. Update Radarr to a build containing this commit, then add the Trakt list under Settings > Lists to automatically import movies from Trakt.
