TroubleshootingWhy can't I log in after using a very long password in Kavita?
Kavita password fields are limited to 256 characters. When you paste a longer password (for example, 500 characters) during first-admin registration, the browser silently truncates it to the first 256 characters, but no validation message is shown. Use the first 256 characters of the password you pasted to sign in. For new accounts, choose a password of 256 characters or fewer. If this is the initial admin account and you cannot recover access, reset the Kavita configuration/data and register again with a password no longer than 256 characters.
TroubleshootingWhy won't the Kavita admin registration form submit when my username contains a space?
Kavita usernames cannot contain spaces. Register with a single username such as john.doe or johndoe instead of John Doe. If no validation error appears, update Kavita to the latest version, refresh Microsoft Edge, clear the form, and retry registration.
