Explore, document, and analyze your database like a map – modern ERD for messy real-world schemas.

Core Features

  • Supports many databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
  • Smart ERD that handles hundreds of tables
  • One-click online exploration via SQL file link
  • Fast schema design using AML language
  • Add notes and tags for team documentation

What It Can't Do

  • Free tier has limitations, advanced features require subscription. 2. Self-hosting requires setting up database connections and runtime. 3. May not work well with very old or non-standard SQL dialects.

Use Cases

  • Collaborative database schema design
  • Onboarding new team members to legacy databases
  • Database audit and refactoring analysis

Detailed Introduction

Azimutt is a full-stack database exploration tool that goes beyond traditional ERDs. It helps you design schemas using AML, explore hundreds of tables with ease, query data while following foreign keys, document everything with notes and tags, and analyze your database for inconsistencies. Supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, SQL Server, SQLite, MongoDB, Couchbase, Snowflake, BigQuery, Hive and more. You can use it online or self-host with Docker.
