TroubleshootingHow to fix 'No matching distribution found for Pillow>=12.1.0' when running install.sh on macOS?
The installer is using macOS system Python 3.9.6, but the pinned packages require Python 3.10 or newer. Install a newer Python and make sure python3 resolves to it during installation:
brew install python@3.12
rm -rf ~/.claude/skills/geo
mkdir -p /tmp/pybin
ln -sf "$(brew --prefix python@3.12)/bin/python3.12" /tmp/pybin/python3
export PATH="/tmp/pybin:$PATH"
python3 --version # Must show Python 3.10+
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/zubair-trabzada/geo-seo-claude/main/install.sh | bash
The permanent installer fix is to probe versioned interpreters such as python3.13, python3.12, python3.11, and python3.10, accept only one where sys.version_info >= (3, 10), and update the prerequisite message from Python 3.8+ to Python 3.10+.
TroubleshootingWhy does the schema audit fail to detect JSON-LD markup located in the HTML <head>?
The audit fails because WebFetch strips <head> content during HTML-to-markdown conversion, while JSON-LD schema blocks are often placed in <head>. The fix is to use fetch_page.py for page retrieval and schema detection instead of WebFetch, because it correctly extracts JSON-LD. Update the geo-schema agent and skill to call fetch_page.py, then rerun the audit.
TroubleshootingHow to fix "Agent type 'geo-citability' not found" when running /geo-audit?
The /geo-audit command references two agent types that are not registered in the installation: geo-citability and geo-brand-mentions. This is a command/agent-registration mismatch, not a problem with the webpage or your input. As a workaround, use one of the available geo agents instead: geo-ai-visibility, geo-content, geo-platform-analysis, geo-schema, or geo-technical. Update to the latest version or restart the agent environment; if the latest build still does not list the missing agents, the repository must register or add them.
